Hotel Verve Bangkok, in a joint agreement with Okura Nikko Hotel Management, a Japan-based hospitality firm and subsidiary of Hotel Okura, will start a new leaf as Hotel JAL City Bangkok.

The said hotel was part of the Grand Tower Enterprise hotel chain. However, after the November 15 deal, it will become a property under the Okura Nikko Hotel Management group. Target date of operations will be on the second quarter of 2020.

Purpose of Rebranding

Located just a stone's throw away from Hotel Nikko Bangkok, which recently launched in January 2019, the rebranded hotel is highly accessible. It takes around 3 minutes from the hotel to Thonglor BTS Skytrain station.

According to Okura Nikko Hotel Management CEO Marcel van Aelst: “We are delighted to be able to introduce the Hotel JAL City brand outside Japan for the first time, and are hoping it will help bring broader recognition of the Okura Nikko Hotel brand in Thailand.”

Boasting 324 keys, the new management will target long-staying visitors - particularly from the Japanese market. Notable features include flat screen TVs with 9 Japanese channels, systematised bathrooms with bathtubs, responsive customer service and more.

Facilities & Amenities of this BKK Property

Guests can look forward to hotel facilities like meeting rooms and a dining restaurant. Moreover, all guests staying at the new hotel will have the privilege of usig the pool amenities at its nearby sister hotel, Hotel Nikko Bangkok.

While Okura Nikko Hotel Management has already handled four properties in Thailand, the rebranded hotel will be its first Thai property under the Hotel JAL City brand.
